THE MOST PERSISTENT AREA OF SNOW WILL STRETCH FROM THE CENTRAL SOUTHERN TIER, THROUGH THE FINGER LAKES REGION, AND INTO THE WESTERN MOHAWK VALLEY, WHERE SNOWFALL AMOUNTS COULD REACH 2 INCHES BY 1 AM. ACROSS THE REST OF THE REGION, SNOWFALL AMOUNTS WILL BE AN INCH, OR LESS. TEMPERATURES ARE FALLING BELOW FREEZING, AND WET ROADS MAY REFREEZE. USE CAUTION ON OVERPASSES AND BRIDGES, AS THEY WILL BE THE FIRST TO BECOME ICY.
